Fort Pierce Central High School will hold its College Night for Junior and Senior Families.  The event will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 6:30 PM at the FPCHS Auditorium.  Families will gain knowledge and insight about admission requirements, deadlines, SAT/ACT testing, scholarships and more.

Attention seniors: Leonard’s will be on campus (in the auditorium) for the last summer photo dates of August 10-11, from 9am to 3pm, to take your senior photos. Be sure to confirm and pay your sit fee by either visiting, or calling 888-224-5045. At this time, you may also upgrade to any other session (value, designer, ultimate). Be sure to bring different outfits to change into. Ladies, please be sure to wear some type of tank top that you can pull the straps down on; gentleman, please wear a white undershirt. Leonard’s will supply the drape for ladies, and tux shirt, jacket and bow tie for the gentleman.  Walk-ins are also accepted both days. You must take your yearbook photo with Leonard’s, in order to be in the yearbook. Congrats, class of 2016!!!

FPCHSOotM 079Odyssey of the Mind (OotM) is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and World level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and from about 25 other countries participate in the program.
The FPC team will compete with over 800 teams from around the world  May 20-23, 2015 at Michigan State University.
Millions of kids have been working hard all year perfecting their solutions to OotM problems and competing within their regions and states.  Only a few will advance to World Finals — these teams represent the best of the best creative minds.
Best wishes to the FPC Odyssey of the Mind team — have fun in Michigan!

​On April 11, FPC along with other area schools, will have their Annual Empty Bowls event at the Ft. Pierce Farmers Market from 7 am-noon.  Students will be selling their handmade bowls for $15.  The bowls are served with soup and a piece of bread.  The soup is also made by the FPC culinary department. All proceeds from the event benefit the Treasure Coast Food Bank, and stay in our community!

betaclubFort Pierce Central (FPC) High’s BETA Club celebrated a winning performance January 16-17 in Orlando at the State BETA Conference. They placed 3rd out of 17 teams in the Quiz Bowl Competition and qualified to compete at National BETA Convention this summer in Nashville, TN. Since this was the first time they participated at State Convention the team was thrilled with their results! Congratulations Cobras! The winning team is pictured: from left Cody Nichoson, Sara Ramkissoon, Bryce Starr, Riley Kicker, Andrew Caputo and Andrew Collins. Look for more great things to come from BETA Club at FPC!

This entrepreneurship program offers Jared an opportunity to network with local business leaders to grow his business idea.
