Exciting news with regards to our dress code… At the students’ request, we have agreed to expand our dress code options this year to include allowing students to wear unaltered Westwood t-shirts. Students may wear approved t-shirts from Westwood clubs, teams, graduating Classes, etc. The t-shirts must be Westwood t-shirts, but may be of any color and can be worn Monday through Friday.

Sheldon Riley, a junior at Fort Pierce Westwood H.S., finished in second place this weekend at the state finals for the Fresh from Florida Cook-Off. The competition took place in Orlando, Fl. Sheldon prepared a southwestern orzo salad with grilled chicken. Please see his recipe below that he created for this competition. This week the Fort Pierce Westwood Veterinary Tech program welcomed an amazing donation from one of our local business partners. This past Wednesday, April 19th, Yvonne McCormick, owner of CORE Contents Restoration, LLC of Fort Pierce, Florida brought to the school a large donation of cat food, dog food, medication and medical supplies (see photos below) that will go to support various activities within the Veterinary Tech program....
