Computer Club Students Provide Food and Turkeys for Family Meals, Inc

Student Computer Club president, Kimberly Cantarero, and club members Gabe Caussade and Andri Cordova, presented a check and boxes of food to Martha Taylor, president of Family Meals, Inc. The group gave a $50.00 check to help buy turkeys and the food is delegated to families so that they may prepare the food in their own homes with their families at Thanksgiving.

Homecoming King and Queen Chosen for 2013

The 25th anniversary of PSLHS garnered a large gathering to witness the crowning of the 2013 homecoming queen and king, Kiara Paris and Jerry DeJean. Both seniors grew up together and shared this honor to culminate a successful homecoming week. Principal Bridgette Hargadine hosted alumni principals Charles Cuomo and Mary Lou Goldberg, who joined in the halftime ceremonies. Former homecoming queens Trish Perdew Causby, Jackie Spircoff Davis, and Megan Jones joined in the activities as well. Many alumni were on hand to celebrate the homecoming festivities.

Baseball Athletes Esquivel and Stewart Sign for College Scholarships

Coach Tony Malizia was proud to announce the signing of two of his varsity baseball players, Enrique Esquivel and Marc Stewart, to Indian River State College and Hillsborough Community College, respectively. The seniors have one more season as Jaguars and will graduate with the class of 2013.

The signing took place in the media center on Wednesday, November 20, with family, friends, and baseball team members attending. Athletic Director, Brandon North, spoke to the audience and congratulated the young men on their achievements.

The 25th Anniversary celebrations of PSLHS began with the Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, October 30.  This event had more than 15 clubs, teams and community groups involved.  The Homecoming Committee is grateful for the participation of our sponsors and coaches, law enforcement, city and county agencies for their facilitation, as well as our Port Saint Lucie Community spectators for supporting the Jaguars of PSLHS.  A special thanks to our Judges of the parade participants:
