The long-awaited Autism Writsbands have arrived!!! Please remember to bring in your $2 and help Southport join the Treasure Coast as we bring the deserved attention to this debilitating disorder. On Saturday, April 27th, Southport MS will join the other schools and members of the Treasure Coast and give recognition to fighting Autism. Interested participants can join in the walk at Tradition Square by signin up at 8am. Southport will be donating the proceeds to Autism Speaks for research and cures. Students can pay the $2 at lunch and get their wristband.

Who: SPMS Families are invited to attend

What: CSI Science Mystery Night: Someone has trashed Mrs. Martin’s office. Follow the clues to solve the mystery!

When: January 10, 2013, 5:30-7:30pm

Where: SPMS Cafeteria

We will have Crime Scene Investigators from the Port Saint Lucie Police Department as our special guests!

November 7: Report Cards Go Home

November 8: Intensive Reading Night: This session is designed for parents who have students enrolled in Intensive Reading. Come and learn about our Intensive Reading programs and what you can do at home to support your child. This will be held form 5:30-6:30pm in the Media Center

November 9: Fall picture re-takes

November 12; Veteran’s Day Holiday for All

November 14: PTO Meeting at 3:45pm and SAC at 4:30pm in the Media Center

November 16: Stand Up To Stand Out, Anti-Bullying Day, Wear a school appropriate PINK shirt; Honor Roll all grades, 1pm; Early Dismissal at 2:10pm

November 19-23: Thanksgiving Holiday!
