Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS)!!!Â
At Bayshore we are delighted to announce we earned PBIS Platinum status for the 22-23 school year! At Bayshore, it is our practice and belief that through recognizing and rewarding positive behavior, every child is provided opportunities for success. Through PBIS, students are rewarded for showing their SPOTS (pictured below) by receiving jazzy cash. Once students receive jazzy cash, they can use it towards a variety of monthly events that are planned for this school year. A few of those events include, wacky-tacky day, frozen treat day, and chances to win various prizes. All events are announced on morning announcements and are posted on our PBIS event wall located inside the school.
Our first PBIS event is Wacky Tacky Day scheduled for September 29th as pictured below. It’s the expectation all outfits are school appropriate (i.e., shirts with sleeves, fingertip length bottoms, closed toe shoes, etc…)  If you have any additional questions regarding this event, please contact the school at 772-340-4720.
