Family Involvement<\/h3>\n

Family and Community involvement is essential to student success.\u00a0 We are honored to be part of your child’s education and want to be partners with you.\u00a0There are many ways that we encourage you to be involved with Bayshore Elementary School.\u00a0 Listed below are just a few!<\/p>\n

School Advisory Council<\/h4>\n

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of individuals representing the community, parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, business and community members.\u00a0 The purpose of the School Advisory Council is to work together to develop the school improvement plan in order to ensure student success.\u00a0\u00a0 SAC meets once a month (usually the first Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.) in the media center.\u00a0 If you are interested in becoming part of this council please contact\u00a0 Mrs.Sisto<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Parent Teacher Organization<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a team of family and staff members who work together to support\u00a0\u00a0students’ academic success, as well as plan special events and fundraisers that finance important projects and activities that support our students.\u00a0 PTO meets once a month and also provides support during school events.\u00a0\u00a0 Please contact Mrs.Sisto\u00a0<\/a>if you are interested in being part of PTO.<\/p>\n

Volunteer<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

Bayshore Elementary\u00a0loves volunteers and encourages you to become one today. There are so many ways for you to help.\u00a0 Volunteers are needed to provide reading support to students, help in the media center or even provide teachers with assistance in the classroom.\u00a0\u00a0Did you know that you can even volunteer from home!\u00a0 Just start by filling\u00a0out a St. Lucie Public School Volunteer Application.\u00a0 All applications are now completed online through FastTrack.\u00a0 This can be accessed through the Jobs page on the St. Lucie Public School<\/a> site.\u00a0 <\/span>Please c<\/span>ontact Ms. Washington<\/span> if you have any questions at \u00a0Mrs. Joseph or 772-340-4720.<\/p>\n

Business Partners<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Business Partners are an important part of Bayshore Elementary School. Business partners often serve on Bayshore’s School Advisory Council (SAC), provide incentives for Honor Roll and Kids at Hope Ceremony, and also participate in special events.\u00a0 If your business is interested in becoming a business partner, contact Mrs<\/span>.Joseph.<\/p>\n
