Our second house is the 7 / 8 / 9 accelerated program, called MAPP (Middle School Accelerated Pace Program). This program is a district wide voluntary program for students who are over age for their grade level and who have been retained more than one time. They may enroll for one year spending one semester in eighth grade and one semester in ninth grade leaving with five high school credits.
ASD / IND
The East house is specifically used with our Autism spectrum and intellectually disabled students. This house serves special needs students with emotional behavior challenges and/or autistic students with disabilities
Our students with emotional behavioral disabilities are provided with intensive focused instruction with both a dedicated facilitator and classroom teachers, who rotate into the classroom each day. Tier 3 students are afforded the same high-quality education as their Tier 1 and 2 counterparts, along with social skills development and specialized behavior management.
