Ellyn placed 1st in the Biomedical category &amp; won 2<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Special Awards from Florida Water &amp; Pollution Control Operators Association as well as the<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stockholm Jr. Water Prize.<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><b>Haley Hawkins<\/b> (9th) for her project &#8220;Which Substrate do Ghost shrimp Prefer?&#8221; She placed 2nd in Animal Science<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 category.<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><b>Samuel Porter<\/b> (11th) for his project &#8220;Gravitational Effect on a Siphon.&#8221;\u00a0 Sam placed 2nd in the Physics &amp; Astronomy<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 category and won a special award from YALE Science &amp; Engineering Association.<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><b>Melyna Vaudrin<\/b> (9th) for her project &#8220;Chemical vs Biological&#8221; looking at the differences of whitefly control and she<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 placed 2nd in the category of Earth &amp; Environmental Sciences.<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><b>Gabriel Yrola<\/b> (10th) won a Special Award from Publix Supermarkets for his project on &#8220;Composting for the Future&#8221;.<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\">T<b>omas Bhathen<\/b>a (9th) won 1st place in the Engineering category for his project &#8220;Sound Advice&#8221;.<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\">T<b>omas <\/b>will be<b> representing FPWA at the Sate Science Fair <\/b>to be held in Lakeland, FL, March 24th &#8211;
