If you are a student transferring from a new district, your first step is to visit the Student Assignment office. Once you are officially registered as a student within the district and assigned to a school, you can apply to attend Legacy High School, even if you are out of zone. To do this, simply complete the registration packet. You may have to provide transportation for your student to and from school, especially if there isn\u2019t a bus route available.<\/span><\/h5>\n

If your student is currently enrolled in a private or charter school, you will follow the same process as mentioned above. Begin by registering your student with the district, and after receiving your school assignment, you may request to attend Legacy High School.<\/h5>\n

For families whose students are out of zone, you will need to download and complete the registration packet. Like the other categories, you may have to provide transportation to and from school for your student as part of this process.<\/span><\/h5>\n

Registration is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please check the District calendar to make sure the office is open and not closed in observance of holidays.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle css=”” title=”Do parents need to attend the registration appointment?”]Yes. Parents must accompany their student<\/strong> to complete registration once a placement has been made by the St. Lucie Public Schools Student Assignment Office.<\/strong>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle css=”” title=”Who assigns students to Legacy High School?”]The St. Lucie Public Schools Student Assignment Office<\/strong> assigns students based on zoning in St. Lucie County. However, you can still apply to attend Legacy High School, although placement is not necessarily guaranteed.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle css=”” title=”What if my child already attends a St. Lucie Public School and is assigned to Legacy High School for next year?”]<\/p>\n

Great news! You do not need to re-register with the school.<\/strong> You’re already in the system and on track.<\/p>\n
