Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures<\/h1>\n

Lincoln Park Academy Parent Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures for the 2026-2027 School Year<\/h3>\n

Dear Lincoln Park Academy Families,
\nWe are excited to welcome our students and families back for another outstanding school year at Lincoln Park Academy! As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, we would like to remind everyone that our parent drop-off and pick-up procedures remain the same as last year.
\nThe safety of our students, staff, parents, and community members is our highest priority. These procedures were designed to ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic on and around our campus. We ask for your full cooperation in following the established process. As members of the Lincoln Park Academy family, we all share a responsibility to model good citizenship, respect for others, and adherence to procedures that help keep everyone safe and make the experience smoother for all.
\nPlease review the attached traffic flow graphic and follow the procedures outlined below:<\/p>\n

Morning Drop-Off Procedures<\/h3>\n

1. Gates Open at 7:00 a.m.
\nStudents may be dropped off beginning at 7:00 a.m.<\/p>\n

2. Follow the Designated Traffic Pattern (This is also the designated traffic pattern for pick-up in the afternoon)
\nAll vehicles must enter the parent drop-off\/pick-up line from 25th Street.
\nFollow the orange arrows down Avenue I.
\nTurn left at the tennis courts (21st Street).
\nTurn right onto Avenue K and proceed through the drop-off lane.<\/p>\n

3. Use the Designated Drop-Off Zone
\nThe designated drop-off zone (yellow arrows) extends from the area in front of the gymnasium to the north end of the high school building.
\nStudents should exit the vehicle only when your vehicle naturally comes to a stop within this zone.
\nPlease ensure your child is prepared to exit the vehicle quickly and safely.
\nImportant Reminder:
\nOnly stop when the vehicle in front of you stops.
\nPlease stop only once within the zone. Multiple stops slow the line and create unnecessary delays for other families.<\/p>\n

4. No Passing
\nPassing is strictly prohibited within the drop-off\/pick-up lane.
\nThis roadway is clearly marked as a No Passing Zone.
\nStudents may exit vehicles from either side, making passing unsafe and dangerous.<\/p>\n

5. Drop-Off Locations
\nStudents may not be dropped off or picked up on the opposite side of the roadway.
\nStudents may not be dropped off or picked up in parking lots, side streets, or any location outside the designated drop-off route.<\/p>\n

First Week Reminder
\nPlease expect traffic delays during the first few days of school. As families adjust to the routine and students become familiar with the process, the line will move much more efficiently, during both drop-off and pick-up. Historically, within the first week, traffic flow improves significantly and wait times decrease.
\nWe appreciate your patience, cooperation, and commitment to keeping our Greyhounds safe. By working together and following these procedures, we can ensure a smooth start to another successful year at Lincoln Park Academy.<\/p>\n
