Students and staff were invited to dressed up in pairs, things that comes in a set, wearing the something with the number “two” and tutus because somethings are better TWOgether. It was a fun day at Lakewood Park Elementary.
Literacy Week Theme: Launch Into Literacy, Blast Off Into New Worlds! During the week of January 24th to January, 28th students will be able to celebrate literacy by dressing up following a different theme each day. Please follow the calendar below to participate in this event.
At Lakewood Park Elementary students have an opportunity to have an adult that checks in and out with them each day. They work together to improve behavior and students are rewarded with points, Falcon Bucks, games with staff members, and more. We are proud of all of our Falcons!!!!
Spirit Week began with Wacky Tacky Day. Students and staff strutted the hallways during school today in their craziest clothing for Wacky Tacky Day. The week will culminate this Friday with a PBIS event. The grade level with the most participation ($3 donation) will be presented with a spirit stick and a prize next week.…
Lakewood Park Elementary students and staff kicked off National Hispanic Heritage Month by wearing traditional attire or clothing that represents Hispanic Heritage. We celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success.
