Mariposa Elementary is acknowledging student success in Mr. Evans’ class by celebrating Music in our Schools Month. Students are passionately demonstrating their musical skill sets for their teachers, classmates, and families by sharing songs and activities they learned in music class. Students in upper grades share how their younger siblings are singing catchy songs nonstop at home. Meanwhile, some K-2 students are gaining a head-start in the music curriculum through older siblings sharing their wealth of musical knowledge. Overall, music at Mariposa is bringing students and staff closer together to further maintain a positive learning community.
