Each month, employees nominate co-workers for an OHMER Award. An OHMAR is an Oak Hammock Monthly Employee Recognition Award and is based upon one of five characteristics displayed by the nominee.
Growth Mindedness (an individual that you see as a change agent who embraces and supports new initiatives)
SEL/Equity (an individual who is deliberate about building relationships with others that benefit all)
Work Engagement (an individual who’s actions indicate they are committed to their job, they are proactive, and authentically engaged in their work. This is an individual that doesn’t just show up, they are fully engaged.)
Collegiality (a person who makes connections with other people and helps to create a positive school culture)
Hard Work (an individual who works very hard and does their job, sometimes going above and beyond expectations)
