I teach because I believe that music is vital to the well being of our society. This society includes students, parents, teachers, family members and all those who have a vested interest in the well being of our country\u2019s youth. Students should have the opportunity to obtain a well thought out and meaningful music education no matter race, gender or financial situation.<\/p>\n

My mission as an Instrumental Music Educator is to ensure all students are in a safe and caring learning environment, where they will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed as an independent musician or consumer of music, as well as becoming a upstanding and productive member of their community.<\/p>\n

My vision is to develop in my students a love for learning, creating and listening to high quality music. I will create an engaging curriculum in which students desire to perform for their friends, family and community. I will prepare them to continue their music education into high school and become educated consumers of music in adulthood.<\/p><\/div>\n

We are excited to share an opportunity for our students to engage, grow, and represent the Osprey Standard through the Oak Hammock Osprey Band. This interactive newsletter provides an inside look at what it means to be part of our band family\u2014where students build meaningful relationships, develop new skills, and take pride in being part of something bigger than themselves. We encourage all interested students and families to explore the information below and consider joining one of the largest and most active programs on our campus.<\/div>\n
