Confirm that you have at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA and <strong>4 high school core academic credits (ex. English, Math, Science, World Language, Social Studies) <\/strong>with our high school counselor. You must be on track including the state testing graduation requirements for reading and math.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">2. Ms. Brooks will meet with the student to issue the St. Lucie County Dual Enrollment Contracts to be taken home to parent\/guardian for review. Student will need to send signed copy of the contracts back to Ms. Brooks via teams.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">3. Watch the tutorial that will guide you through the application process.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">4. <a href=\"https:\/\/cnt.irsc.edu\/workday\/dualenrollment\/\"><b>Click this link to view the online tutorial for Summer 2026\u00a0 <\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/irsc.edu\/programs\/special-programs\/dual-enrollment\/\">Complete your IRSC Dual Enrollment Application, the application is an online electronic application.<\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-Use your personal email address when completing the online IRSC dual enrollment application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-You will receive an email after you submit your application that contains your IRSC Student Number.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-You will need the IRSC student number to register for the PERT exam at IRSC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-You will need that student ID to complete dual enrollment program agreement (508) and upload it to your IRSC application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-You will receive another email within 5-7 days after uploading the 508 to your IRSC application. You will not be able to register for classes until you receive that email and activate your Pioneer Portal. Port St. Lucie High School offers AMH 2020 (U.S. History) on our campus that can be taken as one of your seven scheduled classes during the school day.<\/p>\n<p>Students taking SLS 1101 must have an additional elective in their school day schedule they can drop to accommodate SLS 1101 at Indian River State College. All IRSC dual enrollment courses must be taken after the school day to avoid conflict with the school day schedule. Students must have independent transportation to arrive late or leave early to accommodate the number of IRSC dual enrollment courses except for our on campus AMH 2020 course in the Fall and Spring. Students take a total of 7 classes that include IRSC courses.<\/p>\n<div>All DE students must have a 60-credit IRSC Academic Plan from IRSC by the end of their first semester of dual enrollment. Dual Enrollment covers 60 IRSC credits. Students must meet with their IRSC Academic Advisor to secure an IRSC Academic Plan. An Academic Plan is the list of courses the student will need to take at IRSC for an AA Degree.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Dual enrollment students must provide their own transportation for Dual Enrollment Courses not offered on the PSLHS campus. Students are not allowed to stay on the PSLHS campus during the day when they are not schedule a PSLHS class. The total number of classes is 7 that included dual enrollment courses. Dual enrollment classes cannot conflict with scheduled high school classes.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Students with off campus or online dual enrollment classes must complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/schools.stlucie.k12.fl.us\/phs\/files\/2025\/02\/2025-2026-Senior-and-Dual-Enrollment-Abbreviated-Form-1-2.pdf\">2025-2026 Abbreviated Schedule Form<\/a> that must include the parent signature with a notary stamp.
