\u25a0 Earned at least four (4) core high school credits (ex. English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and World Language)<\/div>\n
\u25a0 Meet college placement criteria (usually met with PERT exam administered on IRSC campus).<\/div>\n
SAT, ACT, or PSAT-NMSQT can also be used to meet college placement criteria.<\/div>\n
\u25a0 Have a minimum 3.0 unweighted high school cumulative grade point average. (Check Skyward)<\/strong><\/div>\n

\u25a0 Must be on track for graduation including state FAST and BEST.<\/p>\n

1. Confirm in Skyward that you have at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA and 4 high school core academic credits (ex. English, Math, Science, World Language, Social Studies) <\/strong>with our high school counselor. You must be on track including the state testing graduation requirements for reading and math.<\/p>\n

2. Read, review, and sign the St. Lucie Public Schools Dual Enrollment Contract<\/a>. Email signed and dated contract to monica.brooks@stlucieschools.org. Next, if you are a current PSLHS student, take a picture of signed contract and send it to me on teams.<\/p>\n

3. Complete the Indian River State College Application Process, including taking the PERT exam.<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

-Please make sure you upload all required documents and the IRSC 508 agreement that is located in the online application.<\/p>\n

-Please schedule the PERT exam, email and teams message Ms. Brooks a copy of your PERT scores.<\/p>\n

-You will receive another email within 5-7 days after uploading the 508 to your IRSC application to activate your River Portal.<\/p>\n

-Contact DE@irsc.edu if you do not receive that email after 7 days.<\/p>\n

-Application deadline is July 23rd, registration deadline is July 30th. Application process can take up to 3 weeks to complete including securing your PERT scores.<\/p>\n

4. The student will need to Teams message and email Ms. Brooks when all of the steps have been completed and have qualifying PERT scores and your River Portal login for final registration approval.<\/div>\n

6. Port St. Lucie High School offers AMH 2010 (US History semester 1) in the fall semester on the PSLHS campus that can be built into your school day schedule as one of your seven classes. AMH 2020 (US History semester 2) is offered on the PSLHS campus\u00a0 \u00a0 semester 2. Students wanting to add a second course must have independent transportation to leave school daily after the 5\/6 block for the off campus IRSC class. Students on our campus must be registered in classes offered a PSLHS every period for safety and supervision purposed. If you do not have transportation, you can only take AMH 2010 semester 1 and AMH 2020 semester 2.<\/div>\n
