{"id":8694,"date":"2022-08-09T14:34:21","date_gmt":"2022-08-09T18:34:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/schools.stlucie.k12.fl.us\/phs\/?page_id=8694"},"modified":"2025-08-29T07:32:54","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T11:32:54","slug":"student-laptops","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/schools.stlucie.k12.fl.us\/phs\/student-laptops\/","title":{"rendered":"Laptop Agreement &amp; Payment"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Students at Port St. Lucie High school in grades will be issued a school laptop.<\/p>\n<p>Students and parents must complete the following to receive their school-issued laptop:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/schools.stlucie.k12.fl.us\/phs\/documents\/agreement-for-student-use-of-mobile-devices-2025-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Agreement for Student Use of Mobile Devices 2025-2026<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolpay.com\/pay\/for\/20252026---Annual-Laptop-Fee\/S9mhYq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pay a $25.00 rental fee<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note the following additional fees:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Laptop Damage Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Missing, Lost or Destroyed Laptop $400<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Damaged Laptop Casing $30<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Missing or Lost Laptop Charger $30<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Broken or Damaged Laptop Screen $30<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Broken or Damaged Laptop Keyboard $10&nbsp; <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Stickers and Writing are NOT ALLOWED \u2013 students who apply them<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;and they leave residue will be charged. **at the discretion of admin.&nbsp; $10&nbsp; <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Missing Barcodes\/QR Codes **at the discretion of admin. $10<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All fees can be paid through <a href=\"https:\/\/schools.stlucie.k12.fl.us\/phs\/school-pay\/\">School Pay<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Students who do not return laptops and\/or pay lost charger or Laptop Damage Fees will have an obligation placed on their account that will prevent the student from receiving a laptop the following year or may delay graduation activities.<\/p>\n<p>Laptop repairs can be completed in the Media Center.
