Dual Enrollment Enrollment Process<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Step 1: Attend a Dual Enrollment Information Session<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Students who meet the initial eligibility criteria can send a Teams message to Mrs. Kristin Alvarez or Ms. Tabitha McAdoo to begin the dual enrollment process and schedule a meeting to review the County\u00a0Academic Dual Enrollment Student Contract<\/strong><\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Step 2: Complete the IRSC Admission Application<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Upon receipt of the signed County Academic Dual Enrollment Agreement, students will be provided via email instructions to complete the next steps:<\/p>\n

Complete IRSC Admission Application<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Apply for Classes at Indian River State College<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Use your personal email address (not your IRSC or High School email) to create your credentials. An email address can only be used by one person. Do not use a shared email address when creating your account. You must have access to this email address to verify your application account creation.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Upload the\u00a0Dual Enrollment Program Agreement<\/a>\u00a0to complete your application. This form is typeable and DOES NOT require any signatures. Type Parent and Student names into the form and upload it to your application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The P.E.R.T. is used to determine initial course placement and provides information about your reading comprehension, writing, and mathematics skill levels. It is a computer-adaptive test that is untimed and typically takes about three hours to complete.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Step 4: Activate RiverMail & River Portal<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Students receive a RiverMail\/River Portal activation email after their completed application has been processed.\u00a0Activate it as soon as you receive as the link expires after 30 days. If you don\u2019t receive your RiverMail\/River Portal activation email after your application has been processed, check your spam folder or contact IRSC Student Services using the River Line.<\/div>\n

Step 5: Obtain Textbooks & Stay Connected<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Dual Enrollment course textbooks\/materials are free to dual enrollment students and are picked up at the Book Depot located in St. Lucie West:<\/p>\n

Inside the School Bus Compound \u2013 Use the third gate on your right to enter. If you arrive after 3:00 PM, please use the first gate and loop around to the front. The Book Depot is the first building near the gates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
