Visual Arts<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Drawing<\/h2>\n

Drawing with Mr. Pascucci encompasses the universal Art Elements and Design Principles. Specific project topics include abstract design and basic rendering, as well as figure drawing, perspective landscapes, portraiture, still-lifes and more![\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”4304″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

2D\/3D Art<\/h2>\n

In 2D\/3D Art you will learn various types of art from “Black Out” poems to Painting with acrylics.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”4305″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Photography<\/h2>\n

In Photography with Ms. Stark, the student will learn camera operations and how to create art with the camera.  Photography 1 deals with an introduction to the history and mechanics of a Digital Single Lens Reflex camera.  In the advanced Creative Photography 2, the student will further their studies in creating art.  Whether the student intends on becoming a professional photographer or just use their skill as a hobby, this is a great course for becoming a better photographer.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”4306″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Visual Technology (Yearbook and Newspaper) [AKA – TITAN PUBLICATIONS]<\/h2>\n

Being a part of the yearbook team will develop many life skills that can be taken into any career. Ms. Stark is the teacher for this class, students learn self-discipline, photography skills (photography class recommended before joining this class), some lay-out and design, how to network in a community, etc.,… This particular course always looks good on college applications. This is an intense course in which the student will need to be available to document after school activities. If interested, please contact Ms. Stark. Digital Art & Design<\/h2>\n

Though Digital Art &\u00a0 Design I, II and III follows a rigorous curriculum. It offers great results that can be applied to many other career paths. The technology comes second to the design. The most important thing to have when considering digital design as your next elective is a disciplined and creative attitude.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”4308″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Band<\/h2>\n

The Titan Band is one of the largest and most diverse student organizations at Treasure Coast High School. Members of the Titan Band learn the life and academic skills necessary to perform music at a high level. All students at TCHS are able to participate in the Titan Band.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”4309″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Dance<\/h2>\n

The most successful Dance department in the St Lucie School District welcomes young men and women of all types to join in dance. Mrs. Sullivan’s dance classes will teach the student discipline, how to take care of the the dancing body, how to move with grace and modern moves.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”5404″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” css=””][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Drama<\/h2>\n

It’s an outlet for the creative actor… The theater\/drama department welcomes all students who have an interest in learning the skill of acting. These classes help students in so many ways. The class will turn that shy student into someone who can make a crowd laugh or cry. The classes will also help with memorization and public speaking skills. Titan Voice is the choral program here Treasure Coast High School.
