Digital Art Imaging prepares students for a career in graphic design.<\/p>\n

This is a Career Technical Education Program as well as a Visual Arts Program.<\/p>\n

Based in Art and Design, the students will learn the 2 programs used most widely by the industry professionals: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.<\/p>\n

In Adobe Illustrator Students will learn how to design posters, logos, create graphics for apparel as well as design calendars.<\/p>\n

Some projects include Portrait design, Inspirational Posters, Vinyl Album Cover, Back and Label Design, Video Game Packaging Design,<\/p>\n

Typography Design and many other fun projects that inspire the students to create their own designs.<\/p>\n

In Adobe Photoshop, students will learn photo composition, photo manipulation, create montages. They will learn about surrealism through Photoshop and will learn Photoshop through Surrealism<\/p>\n

– one of the most interesting forms of art in art history. Students will learn how to work with type and typography and even create their own typeface.<\/p>\n

There are two certifications that students will take in their 2nd year in the academy:<\/p>\n
