Moment of Silence Notification to Parents and Guardians
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Florida law requires each public school to provide a daily moment of silence at the beginning of the first period class. This moment of silence will last no less than one minute and no more than two minutes.
During this time, students may use the moment in a way that is meaningful to them. Teachers will not suggest how students should use this time. We encourage you to discuss the purpose of the moment of silence with your child and share ideas about how they may choose to use this time for quiet reflection.
