Samuel S. Gaines Academy of Emerging Technologies is a STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.) K-8 Magnet School. New courses will expose students to computer coding, gaming, robotics, agri-technology, medicine, and augmented and virtual reality applications.

Community Involvement
Parent Teacher Organization: PTO has raised money for the students and teachers which is used to purchase materials for classroom teachers, supplement all resource programs, and support classroom libraries for all programs. |
School Advisory Council (SAC): The SAC meets on a regular monthly basis. This committee looks at goals and objectives of the School Improvement Plan and seeks to find additional strategies to monitor all the schools missions. |
School Volunteer Program: Volunteers are an essential part of the Samuel S. Gaines school program. Volunteers provide a variety of services from correcting papers, chaperoning field trips, or tutoring individual students. |
