Principal: Russell Ader
It is a true honor to ser
ve as the principal of Fairlawn Elementary Magnet School. Fairlawn is more than a school—it is a vibrant community with a rich history and strong traditions. I am excited to be part of its continuing story and ongoing journey. With nearly 25 years in education—as a teacher, leader, and lifelong learner—I bring with me a range of experience across elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as post-secondary education. This diverse background has shaped my belief in the power of education to transform lives.

At the heart of my leadership is a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where they can grow, thrive, and be celebrated for who they are. I am committed to fostering a school culture where students feel seen, heard, and valued.
Recognized as an A School by the State of Florida Department of Education, a Golden School Award recipient and a Five-Star School, we invite you to visit our campus to meet our Fairlawn Family. Indeed, at Fairlawn, the expectation is that the education of our students is truly a partnership between our families, faculty, staff, and community to support every student’s success. Together, we will celebrate achievements, overcome challenges, and continue building a school we are all proud to call home.
