Mariposa Elementary 4th and 5th graders had their special Writing Days. 4th Grade had a Writing Carnival and 5th grade had a Surgery Day. Each station had students dissecting texts, writing elaborations, citing evidence, and much more! It was a great day for learning!
Mariposa 5th graders performed their show of Broadway musicals with the help of their drama coaches from Port St. Lucie High School. For more than 20 years, PSLHS drama students have partnered with Mariposa students to choreograph popular Broadway songs. The 5th graders shine as they perform the songs for other grade levels as well as their parents.
