Mariposa’s First Graders help with UNICEF

At Mariposa, Mrs. Elizabeth Forbes, first grade teacher, volunteered to serve as the Unicef Coordinator.  She turned this into a learning experience for her students.  She had enough coins to allow her first graders to sort, count, make patterns, and even count by 5’s and 10’s.  What an opportunity!  So now these first graders know their coins!
