Located in Pt. St. Lucie, Northport K-8 offers a challenging and engaging curriculum in a safe environment. Reading, writing, math and technology are strongly emphasized in all courses. Each grade has access to a full computer lab. Teachers work together to integrate the curriculum and provide for maximum learning and mastery of skills and concepts.

Northport has several unique programs for the Blue Zone including courses for Gifted students, Spanish and musical Keyboarding.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of Elective courses. A number of extracurricular activities are also available to students. These include Student Council, Builder’s Club (a service organization under Kiwanis), Odyssey of the Mind, Basketball, Volleyball, Cheerleading, and Crime Watch.

Students also participated in school wide activities such as Young Authors, Sunshine Bowl, DAR, History Fair, Science Fair, Sunshine Math, and numerous contests.
