A Message from Dr. D’Jion Jackson-Harris:
Dear Village Green Environmental Studies School Families,
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you to the upcoming school year at Village Green Environmental Studies School. I am honored to serve as your principal and to continue partnering with our students, families, staff, and community as we nurture curiosity, leadership, environmental stewardship, and academic excellence.
St. Lucie Public Schools has played a meaningful role throughout my life and career. I attended schools in St. Lucie Public Schools, began my journey as an educator by teaching in St. Lucie Public Schools, and proudly watched all of my children attend and graduate from St. Lucie Public Schools. In addition, I have had the privilege of serving as a school administrator for the past 20 years. These experiences have deepened my commitment to this district, this community, and the important work we do together on behalf of children.
As we begin a new school year, I look forward to the many opportunities ahead for our students to learn, grow, explore, and lead. At Village Green, we believe every child has the potential to make a positive impact on the world. Through strong instruction, meaningful relationships, hands-on environmental learning, and a shared commitment to success, we will continue building a school culture where students are encouraged to think critically, act responsibly, and dream boldly.
I am looking forward to an excellent school year filled with achievement, collaboration, and celebration. Together, we will continue to prove that it takes “A” Village to grow World Changers.
