School Advisory Councils (SAC)
School Advisory Councils (SAC) have been established in Florida public schools as the decision-making body for school improvement and accountability at the school level. SAC’s primary mission is to write and monitor the School Improvement Plan.
SAC members represent the ethnic, racial and economic community served by the school. Parents, community members and staff members are encouraged to attend our monthly meetings. Voting members are initiated at the first SAC meeting of the school year. Meetings are held monthly and all are welcome to attend and listen to the discussions.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 3:30 pm in the VGESS Media Center.
