We were delighted to invite all Lawnwood Kindergarten families to our recent Kindergarten Orientation, hosted by our dedicated Kindergarten Team. During this informative event, parents gained valuable insights into the Kindergarten instructional standards, classroom procedures, class schedules, and much more.
Our teachers seized this opportunity to explain various ways parents can actively support their child’s learning journey. The Kindergarten Team provided detailed insights into effective at-home practices, emphasized the importance of maintaining a structured routine, and shared strategies for engaging children in educational activities that complement classroom learning. This comprehensive approach ensures that parents are well-equipped to reinforce their child’s education outside of school.
Additionally, our Open House event extended to VPK, PK, and Grade K-5. Parents had the unique opportunity to tour the school, meet their child’s teacher, and visit the classroom. They learned about classroom expectations and explored how best to support their child’s educational experience. This event not only fostered a sense of community but also strengthened the partnership between parents and teachers, ensuring a collaborative effort in nurturing the students’ growth and development.
