The Northstars team has been specifically designed to challenge gifted and advanced students in need of an advanced curriculum. Students in this program attend classes in STEM and Spanish. In STEM class, students explore hands-on, project-based curriculum from Project Lead the Way on Energy & the Environment, Flight & Space, and Medical Detectives. Students also explore curriculum in the areas of Robotics and Lasers/Photonics. These students will have already earned high school credits in Algebra and Spanish when they move on from eighth grade.
