The Northport K-8 band is the first stepping stone before entering a high school marching bands or other musical hobbies. When you join the band, you are joining a group of elite Northport students who are committed to not only their academics, but fine arts. Playing music gives you the chance to develop discipline, teamwork and the love of making music together with friends. Whether you are interested in playing an instrument temporarily or plan on being the drummer of a rock band, this collaborative resource option will teach you patience, persistence, and the responsibility to reach your goals.
