Students attending the free Summer Adventure Learning Camp turn into inventors each week with new hands-on projects. The camp runs from Monday through Thursday each week until July 29 and is led by certified teachers. A typical day starts off with an academic activity that helps students avoid the ‘summer slide,’ which is the tendency for students to lose gains over summer break. In the afternoon, they turn up the creativity with STEM-related projects – such as making solar bots.
