Amy Isenhower, Director of Bands

I teach because I believe that music is vital to the well being of our society. This society includes students, parents, teachers, family members and all those who have a vested interest in the well being of our country’s youth. Students should have the opportunity to obtain a well thought out and meaningful music education no matter race, gender or financial situation.

My mission as an Instrumental Music Educator is to ensure all students are in a safe and caring learning environment, where they will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed as an independent musician or consumer of music, as well as becoming a upstanding and productive member of their community.

My vision is to develop in my students a love for learning, creating and listening to high quality music. I will create an engaging curriculum in which students desire to perform for their friends, family and community. I will prepare them to continue their music education into high school and become educated consumers of music in adulthood.
