Gaines Academy Rocks! We have awesome administrators, teachers, staff, students, parents, families and friends! There were over 60 people at the walk that represented Samuel Gaines Academy! Many people are affected by autism every day. It was so encouraging to see so many take time out of their day to show their support.
Gaines Academy 7th grade students started a recycling program at school. In just the first few weeks of the program, the students were able to fill four recycling bins full of paper and cardboard that was collected from classrooms rather than tossed into the trash. During Spring Break, thirty Home Depot employees and volunteers enhanced the Samuel S. Gaines Academy campus with a Kids at Hope Garden. Volunteers installed an irrigation system, built plant boxes & fences, transplanted trees, and beautified the garden area with new sod & mulch.
