How well is your school supporting your involvement in your child’s education?
The Florida Department of Education is conducting a survey designed to provide the state with information on how well schools are supporting parents’ involvement in their child’s education. Under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), states must report this information to the federal government on an annual basis. This survey, conducted only once a year, provides parents with a unique opportunity to be heard. The survey window is open from February 1, 2020 until May 31, 2020. All parents of children with IEPs in preschool to twelfth grade are encouraged to complete the survey. Your responses will help to provide important information for planning and guiding efforts to improve the services and results for children and families.
If your child brought home a written version of the survey, please complete the survey and sign your child’s agenda on the label referring to the survey. If you prefer an online version, you can access the survey by clicking on the link: www.ESEsurvey.com or visit the Florida Department of Education website for more parent information and click on Annual Florida DOE ESE Parent Survey All responses are confidential. No names will be released in any report. Thank you for your input.
