Weatherbee staff and students wore yellow and caught the wave to empowerment on Friday, September 27th. Each class designed a surfboard illustrating ways they feel empowered or can empower others. Weatherbee’s motto this year is “Catch the Wave to Success” and the surfboards help to illustrate that theme.
Back To School Open House is scheduled for Thursday, August 8th from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. We welcome you to stop by during those hours to visit your child’s classroom and meet the teacher. See you there! First day of school for students will be Monday, August 12, 2019.

The WBE Kindergarten Team was rewarded with a special whiz-bang, whatcha-ma-doodle, thing-a-ma-jiggity prize for having the most participation and most Seussical attire at Weatherbee’s celebration of Dr. Seuss’ Birthday on Friday, March 1st.
Weatherbee Mariners were welcomed back to school for the 2018-2019 school year through the Tunnel of Hope! We are so proud of our 146 point gain and B school grade! We will continue Charting A Course to Success!

Klutch, the Saint Lucie Mets Mascot, recently visited Weatherbee Fifth Grade Students to wish them good luck on the Science FSA.
Weatherbee was represented by Bryce, Dakyra, and Jacqueline at the recent District Science Showcase held at the Oxbow Eco Center. Students, who were accompanied by their Science teacher Ms. Katelyn Donovan, enjoyed sharing their projects with other student scientists and adults. Congratulations to all who participated in this year’s showcase!
