Faculty Fridays – Mrs. Cetin
Each Friday we are introducing one of our outstanding Osprey faculty/staff members. This week we are pleased to introduce Mrs. Cetin, our Support Specialist.
Tell us about your family
Answer: I’m Married and have two wonderful kids: Travis is 18 years old Sr. at PSLHS and he is the Battalion Commander of ROTC and Kendall-lee who is 15 is a Sophomore at PSLHS and plays softball. I got very lucky with my two kids they are my everything!
Do you have any pets?
Answer: Two dogs Rascals -12 and Jagger – 5. I love animals, if I could own a lot of acres I would build a place where people could just drop off any animal they didn’t want with no questions ask!
What do you like most about Oak Hammock?
Answer: two things: I would say the students. I love watching them grow up and turn into young adults, and of course the people I work with, I feel very lucky to be a part of the Oak Hammock Family.
What is your favorite sport/team?
Answer: NY Islanders, NY Giants and NY Mets… Can you tell I’m from New York?
Where is your hometown?
Answer: My home town is Coram, Long Island, NY but, I was born in Hollywood Florida.
You’re happiest when?
Answer: When I’m with my kids, they make me so proud to be a Mom!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Answer: Shop, shop, shop, shop oh and shop!
What were you like in school?
Answer: Well I must say I was popular and a social butterfly I don’t think they use that term anymore…lol oh and a Cheerleader.
What things do you not like to do?
Answer: Clean my house, if I could have someone clean my house I would!!!!
Who is your role model, and why?
Answer: My role model would have to be my beautiful Mom. She was such a hard worker, and a caring and loving person. If I could be one ounce of what my Mom was I would be lucky!
If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why?
Answer: 30 because I figured out a lot about life, you have responsibilities, but you could still have fun. I think that’s the perfect age to be, you’re not too young and not to old just right!
