Our goal at St. Lucie West K-8 School is to continue to provide excellent teaching and learning experiences for students.
Located in Port St. Lucie, we offer high standard academic courses with a strong emphasis placed on reading, writing and technology. Each classroom is equipped with student computer workstations and supervised Internet access. A variety of academic and elective courses are available to enable students to make good, sound choices about their future, and to instill in them the desire for lifelong learning.
Our Band Director, Ms. Jennifer Rosser, was honored with the opportunity to be the clinician for the Heartland Middle School Honor Band of Highlands County recently. The mission and joy of Grace Packs Inc. is to provide weekly weekend food for students who lack an ample food supply, relieving the burden many of these children endure by being hungry. Christina DiMeo, an 8th Grader at St. Lucie West K-8 School, was selected as the Weekend Weather Kid by CBS12. Her broadcast was on December 30, 2016. She was nominated by Barbara Ricks, her Business Education Teacher. We are very proud of Christina, she looked like a pro!
