Junior Academy Academic Bowl
Fort Pierce Westwood Academy JROTC Cadets were selected to compete in the Army’s Junior Academic Bowl.
The team led by SSG Liberty Juno and team members SGT Emmanuel Alcidor, SGT Naomi DeCarvalho, and SGT Jordan Sanchez consisted of all 9th graders.
They competed against 1700 other teams and made it to the 2nd level of 5 levels. Much work still to be done. The team competed against teams with students who are mostly senior to them. It is a remarkable achievement and reflects on the quality educational opportunity being provided under the Westwood Leadership.
