Fort Pierce Westwood Academy’s robotics and engineering program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and technically oriented experiences to study principles and applications of robotics and engineering. The content and activities will also include the study of entrepreneurship, safety, and leadership skills.

This program focuses on transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstrating science and mathematics knowledge, technological tools, machines, instruments, materials, processes, and systems related to robotics.

Students discover and explore manufacturing processes, product design, robotics, and automation and apply what they have learned to design solutions for real-world manufacturing problems.

Additionally, students can earn various Career Technical Education (CTE) certifications, including CIW and AutoCAD.

What it will lead to…
This program will lead students to multiple industry certifications including: AutoCAD, AutoDesk-Inventor, and Python programming. A student who wishes to continue learning in college will have the necessary foundational skills to be competitive among their peers.
