The WESTprep Marine and Oceanographic Academy claimed first and second place in the regional Manatee Bowl in Miami on Saturday February 1st.  The A team, comprised of Chad Adkins, Matthew Zoll, Casie Schulz, Salvatore Piazza, and Captain Caleb Stacey went undefeated for 11 rounds and will be advancing to the National Ocean Bowl Championship in Mississippi.

The B Team, comprised on Kavir Sookdeo, John Lewenec, Lorenzo Gallardo, and Liberty Juno, was defeated by Team A in the final round of competition.  The competition consisted of 14 schools from many southern Florida locations.
