This K-8 Magnet features a Black Box Theater, new arts classrooms, upgraded facilities, and earlier school hours to better accommodate extracurricular or community based activities. Academic excellence includes the Cambridge Primary program to develop pre-collegiate skills.

| Parent Teacher Organization: PTO has raised money for the students and teachers which is used to purchase materials for classroom teachers, supplement all resource programs, and support classroom libraries for all programs. |
School Advisory Council (SAC): The SAC meets on a regular monthly basis. This committee looks at goals and objectives of the School Improvement Plan and seeks to find additional strategies to monitor all the schools missions. |
School Volunteer Program: Volunteers are an essential part of the CAST school program. Volunteers provide a variety of services from correcting papers, chaperoning field trips, or tutoring individual students. |
