This K-8 Magnet features a Black Box Theater, new arts classrooms, upgraded facilities, and earlier school hours to better accommodate extracurricular or community based activities. Academic excellence includes the Cambridge Primary program to develop pre-collegiate skills.

The St. Lucie Curriculum is designed in a quarterly pacing guide known as the Scope and Sequence.
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of people representing various segments of the community; parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, business/ industry people and other interested community members.

Parent Teacher Organization:
PTO has raised money for the students and teachers which is used to purchase materials for classroom teachers, supplement all resource programs, and support classroom libraries for all programs.
School Advisory Council (SAC):
The SAC meets on a regular monthly basis. This committee looks at goals and objectives of the School Improvement Plan and seeks to find additional strategies to monitor all the schools missions.
School Volunteer Program:
Volunteers are an essential part of the CAST school program. Volunteers provide a variety of services from correcting papers, chaperoning field trips, or tutoring individual students.

St. Lucie Public Schools, in partnership with parents and community, will become premier centers of knowledge that are organized around students and the work provided to them.
