Algebra Tile Fun at LPA

Mrs. Porter‘s Accelerated 7th Grade Math students at Lincoln Park Academy enjoyed using algebra tiles during an introductory lesson for solving equations. Students modeled equations and wrote equations for models. Then students used the tiles to solve one-variable equations. The students look forward to deepening their understanding of equations using the algebra tiles.
