Lincoln Park Academy Middle School students completed the Student Council elections for the 2024.2025 school year. The Middle School student council elections were a resounding success, with an impressive participation of 646 students. The students eagerly took part in the voting process and casting their ballots in their social studies classrooms. Not only did they vote online to choose their candidates, but each social studies teacher also conducted a mock election, complete with voting booths, ballots, and the experience of waiting in line – allowing the students to fully immerse themselves in the democratic process.
Social Studies teachers are thrilled to announce the representing officers:
President- Alaina Desir, 8th-she is responsible for leading the student body.
Vice president- Chelsea Jean, 7th grade-she is responsible in the absence of the president, and she will assist the president.

The social studies department, including Mrs. Nuccio, Mr. Seaberry, Mr. Sparacio, Mr. Rionda, Mr. Perry, and Ms. Maldonado (sponsor), played a crucial role in the
success of this event.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers and staff, including a special mention to Mrs. Labbe, school clerk, and Ms. Stone, Assistant Principal in this important and engaging learning experience for our students,” Maldonado said. The candidates worked tirelessly on their campaigns, from September 17th to 26th. Creating posters, distributing flyers, and sharing their voice videos with the student body. Also, getting recommendations and signatures from their teachers and the final approval of our Middle School Dean, Ms. Nieves, and Assistant Principal, Ms. Stone. Their hard work and dedication ensured that their voices were heard throughout the election.
