We are incredibly proud of our 7th grade Civics students in Mr. Sparacio’s class for their outstanding participation in this year’s Project Citizen district competition!
Project Citizen is a nationally recognized program that empowers students to identify real-world issues in their community, research public policy solutions, and develop action plans to create positive change. Through this hands-on learning experience, students not only deepen their understanding of government processes but also learn the importance of civic engagement and advocacy.
Our Lincoln Park Academy 7th graders worked collaboratively to research, present, and defend their policy proposals in front of a panel of judges, showcasing their critical thinking, teamwork, and passion for improving their community.
