The Lincoln Park Academy Middle School PBIS Dodgeball Extravaganza served as a purposeful and uplifting celebration of students who consistently demonstrated exemplary behavior and upheld #TheLPAStandard. This event recognized students who modeled our core expectations each day: Be Prompt, Be Prepared, Be Productive, Practice Respect, and Practice Safety. These PBIS principles form the foundation of our school culture, and the students who met these expectations throughout January and February were invited to participate in this special activity.
The Middle School Dodgeball Extravaganza rewarded students who maintained positive behavior, like helping classmates, following school and classroom rules, and demonstrating excellent accountability by fulfilling all school expectations. Their commitment to meeting school‑wide expectations reflects a strong sense of responsibility and dedication to personal and academic excellence. By honoring these efforts, the event reinforced the importance of daily choices and highlighted the meaningful impact PBIS has on fostering a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
During the celebration, students enjoyed an afternoon of spirited dodgeball matches marked by teamwork, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship. Staff members were present to support, supervise, and encourage students, helping to create a positive atmosphere that emphasized community building and recognition of student achievement. Events like this showcase the strength of our PBIS framework and demonstrate how positive reinforcement can motivate students to maintain high standards.
Lincoln Park Academy extends its appreciation to the PBIS team, faculty, and staff whose planning and support made this event possible. Their dedication ensures that students are acknowledged for their hard work and continue to feel inspired to uphold #TheLPAStandard in all areas of school life.
