The Greyhound spirit was on full display at Lincoln Park Academy’s 2nd Annual PBIS Middle School Olympics, an event that brought our school community together in a powerful celebration of positivity, perseverance, and pride. Thanks to the energy, preparation, and teamwork of our incredible staff and students, this year’s Olympics were nothing short of extraordinary.
One of the standout moments of the day came from the Middle School Jazz Band, whose performance elevated the entire event. Under the masterful direction of Mr. Hatfield, these talented musicians filled the gym with dynamic, energizing live jazz that set the tone for friendly competition and school spirit. Their musicianship and Mr. Hatfield’s leadership reminded everyone how remarkable our students truly are.
Last year, the 8th grade team earned the championship title, but this year the crown has a new home. After an hour of high-energy events, teamwork, and determination, Dr. Sparacio’s 7th Grade Team claimed victory as the 2025–2026 PBIS Olympic Champions! Their sportsmanship, collaboration, and positive attitude embodied exactly what PBIS is all about.
Other highlights included electrifying cheers coming from the stands expertly led by our grade-level chairs and teachers, and an unforgettable faculty tug-of-war that had the whole gym roaring. Congratulations to The LPA Staff for defeating the 8th graders in an intense and hilarious match that will surely be talked about for years to come.
This year’s PBIS Olympics is a shining example of school spirit, unity, and the power of positive behavior. This event showcased the very best of Lincoln Park Academy.
