The LPA HS Orchestra has achieved a remarkable milestone, earning straight superior ratings from all four judges at the Florida Orchestra Association Music Performance Assessment, which took place on March 10 at Vero Beach High School. Under the outstanding leadership of Ms. Laura Hopkins, the talented 60-member ensemble delivered an impressive performance, presenting three diverse and challenging pieces: “Russian Sailors Dance,” “Shadow Run,” and “Flight.” In addition to their prepared repertoire, the orchestra also excelled in the sight-reading portion of the event, demonstrating their versatility, musicianship, and dedication to excellence in music. Each selection received top marks from the adjudicators, reflecting the students’ hard work, commitment, and passion for their art.
