Twelve Key Club members (Rowan Crandall, Roselyn Crandall, Sydney Daniel, Gabriel Guarnizo, Damon Harris, Jeremiah Henderson, Malachi Henderson, Gilberto Mendez, Isabela Mohindroo, Jayden Nargen, Nachbi Pierre, and Jaeda Wolfgram) attended the first activity at the Community Garden in Fort Pierce today. The students were taught how to flip the soil, even it up, and place and secure the irrigation hoses. The soil was left ready to rest for 6 weeks. At that time, we will come back and begin the planting. The vegetables and fruits grown will be distributed on a regular basis to Sarah’s Kitchen and to those in need in our community.
