🇺🇸Happy Constitution Day from Mr. Meeks ASD classroom at PSL High School!
To celebrate, our students in the learned about the Constitution in a creative way. Our amazing paraprofessionals became the “laws,” and the students became the “states.”
Students got to sign their names to the classroom rules, and then they picked the rules they liked best and signed those as well. Mr. Meeks read a story to help explain the dynamic of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, comparing them to our own classroom setting. It was a fun lesson that everyone seemed to enjoy!
A big shout-out to my entire team—Mr. Krigger, Mr. Gerald, and Mrs. Candice—for always helping our students be great. And thank you to the students who listened and participated. Your engagement and curiosity make all the difference!🇺🇸
